Note on photo:  The fish on the banner of my page is the juvenile of this fine creature.  In all of my hundred plus plus dives I have never encountered a juvenile a second time.  Adults are common but not juveniles.  So it possibly is a once-in-a-lifetime shot for me… …

I'm really sorry to hear about your dad. I hope the coming days find him feeling much better. Sounds like it was a pretty scary time for you all. I'll be sure to send some long-distance healing thoughts your way!
I'm in total agreement with you about your thoughts on karma. It seems like the crappiest things happen to the nicest people, and wonderful things happen to the dregs of society (or they somehow manage to escape the punishment they deserve). It doesn't seem fair, does it?

  2. He's a bit better… he cooked dinner today… surprising gesture… but got me home after work quick as lightning…I love his cooking! 🙂 Thanks for your healing thoughts!
Yeah… I figured that whatever you do on Earth won't really affect your life here on Earth too much if you don't have a conscience. So far it seems that way. But yet I don't want to be one of those people who are like that. I guess I like being angry and upset… hahaha

Deep breaths. Your dad sounds like he will be ok, and so will you. Please don't quesion the beauty of life even if there is a lot of uglyness in the world-you only need to look at your own wonderful pictures to see that, surely? A world that holds such fantastic critters can't be all bad, and I really don't think the apocalypse is lurking behind the corner just yet 😉 *sends positive and conforting thoughts* Hang in there, tomorrow is another day!

  4. Thanks 🙂 But everytime when I go diving or when I am out shooting, I notice that there are some terrible changes… especially with the underwater conditions… changes that seem quite permanent… 😦 Everything is really unstable right now, both inside and outside of the home.
