The Kingdom

The Kingdom

Many came.  Many left.  Many lost their way.  And some forgot.

Except for those who stayed to put up the walls of the kingdom with their bare hands.

Rich in history, the kingdom was stained with blood and filled with glory.

Its light was inseparable from its darkness and its inhabitants an intrinsic self-sustaining feature of a living, breathing entity that was more than stone, more than structure.  It simply is.

And besides acknowledging its existence to various degrees of understanding and appreciating it, there was nothing more in itself that you could make a part of yourself.

Except the memory of what you had perceived and the memory of the sound of your own words.

The kingdom changes and changes but yet remains true to what it has always been.

A beautiful encounter.

    Fabulous critter photos Ellen. 🙂

  2. Thanks Emjay! 🙂 I didn't spot any of these. I was just wondering around in the pitch darkness following the Alien from KL as he flashed his torchlight around! 🙂
