Desperate Times

These are lean times.  This is the second weekend I am posting a bush brown as a main pic because there aren't any less bawah butterflies to take its place.

And when they were found they were extremely uncooperative:

1) Female Archduke: OK.  Usually flighty anyway.

2) Malay viscount above: OK. Uncooperative most of the time usually

3) A couple of caeruleans

4) Elbowed pierot

5) Common hedge blue

6) Commander: OK. Uncooperative all the time usually.

7) Your usual flighty striped albatrosses and chocolate pansies

Note on photo above: I hadn't realised how quite pretty the female of this species actually is… until today.

Note on photo above and below: The bark mantis on Marcus' flash after he found it scuttering around an abandoned building.

LOL – your description of social networking and all those shoulders! I am not very good at networking. Love the photos as usual but especially the beetle and mantis ones.

I wanted to say: "Really? I just hate people." and dive into the evils of the human species but I just said: "Hi." — haha. are we twins separated at birth? that's something I'd say!

  3. I kinda guessed you'd say that! 😀
